Very Important Blog Site Update

There are dozens of websites that allow users to start and develop blogging sites for free. I chose the site, Blogger, because it was popular with other users and had a fairly good rep for decent service.

Some time ago, Blogger was purchased by Google. As you might know, Google is fast on its way to becoming the 5,000 lb gorilla in the internet world: search, news, music, pictures, video, movies, and now blogging.

Today when I logged in to Blogger, I was told that I should click the links that would update our blog to the new and improved Google version of Blogger.

I did. There are changes/improvements. First and foremost is the need for all who post here to open a Google account. This amounts to signing up for a Google email account. It is of course free and your email and password (which can be the same as your Blogger password) will be part of what it takes for you to sign on to the new Blogger.
