Finished at last!!!!

I finished Christmas shopping for this year today! Had to go to Columbus to get some items and a new coffee maker for us. The one that Zane and Steph gave us several years ago took a small dump, That is, if I were more electrically inclined I would have tried to fix it, but I think that a seal wore out and it leaked water every time a pot was made. We really loved it, so got the same to replace it. I really love to shop, and really had to becareful as I have a tendency to go overboard with buying and since I have this surgery coming up had to really control it! Talked to Kathy B. This morning and all is fine there. From an email I received I thought that Bill had a lower leg amputation, but instead had a total knee done---quite a difference.

It got up to the mid-thirties today, for some reason did not feel that cold, but I was on a mission and I guess did not notice the cold. Christmas lights are up outside, now have to get the drive to get the tree up. I wanted the bigger tree but thought about dragging it up the stairs and the possibility of falling back down the stairs, so guess it will be the small one again. It is cute and does not block the TV---a BIG plus!!!

Tomorrow want to sort out the gifts (and to FIND some of them) to get ready to mail out. Then I think that I will relax. Tuesday I have a Stress test for pre-op, Wed. an appt with the cardiologist, and inbetween I have to request that my medical records be sent to the cardiologist and call the hospital where I'm to have the surgery and they are out of my preferred plan for insurance but was told that they would compensate for the cost. We'll see!
